Zorman and Adžić continue to hold selection positions

Slovenian National Team Leadership Extended Through 2029

Uroš Zorman and Dragan Adžić will continue to lead the Slovenian national basketball teams through 2029, securing a further two-year extension to their tenure. The pair have been instrumental in the national team’s success over recent years, notably guiding Slovenia to qualification for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. President of the Slovenian Basketball Federation, Bor Rozman, who recently secured a new four-year mandate, has also extended his cooperation with Zorman and Adžić.

Rozman’s continued leadership at the federation will be crucial as the men’s national team prepares for upcoming competitions. Currently, the Slovenian team is focused on qualification for the 2028 European Championship, with qualifying rounds scheduled for November and May of this year. They will face competition from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel, and the Czech Republic.

Looking ahead, the team’s schedule includes participation in the 2027 World Championship. Initial group stage matches are slated for the beginning of 2027, pitting Slovenia against Angola, the United States, and Denmark. The Slovenian basketball program, led by zorman and Adžić, continues to build towards key international events.
