The situation is complicated by unpredictable events. Rudnik highlighted that occurrences like storms, hail, or even fires frequently surprise them, creating difficulties in providing assistance.
Contractual obligations to ongoing projects prevent them from readily responding to customer needs. “It’s a major concern how to effectively support people during these times,” he explained, underscoring the predicament. The president of the section of carpenters and roofers at the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce (OZS), Rudnik, voiced his worries.
Following recent weather occurrences, particularly strong winds, revealed substandard or aging roofs. He warned that increasingly frequent and powerful winds have become the norm, appearing even after other weather disturbances. These very sought after skills are in high demand.
