If prices were not regulated, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy estimated that 95-octane gasoline would cost around 1.672 euros per liter, diesel around 1.766 euros per liter, and fuel for heating would cost around 1.415 euros per liter. Fuel dispensing will be available until June 15. As the Ministry announced, the prices of these petroleum derivatives will continue to be calculated based on the methodology that is based on the movement of petroleum derivatives on the global market and the movement of the euro-dollar exchange rate.
Model prices are calculated based on the seven-day averages of prices of mineral petroleum derivatives. Meanwhile, at motorways and expressways, merchants set prices freely.
