In other ministries, the handover of business after the Thursday confirmation of the ministerial team of Prime Minister Janez Janša’s fourth government took place on Friday. As the Foreign Ministry explained, Kajzer carried out the technical part of the handover of business on Friday, and on the day after that, Fajon followed with the political part of the handover. The hearing of candidate for Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Tone Kajzer was recorded.
The new head of the Slovenian diplomacy said after the oath in the DZ on Thursday that he would first talk to colleagues from neighboring countries. The same day he then talked on the phone with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sar, with whom they talked about the expected opening of the first Israeli embassy in Ljubljana and the deepening of cooperation, and Sar also invited him to visit.
