military has carried out one of the most daring search and rescue operations in U.S. history,” Trump stated. He confirmed that the injured pilot is currently in stable condition and otherwise fine.
The pilot was located in a remote area of the Iranian mountains, according to Trump’s account. He stated that the individual is now safe. Trump also confirmed the successful recovery of the first pilot from Iranian territory.
He indicated that further details regarding the operation are being withheld to protect the ongoing efforts to secure the second pilot. “We have not confirmed the information, as we did not want to jeopardize our second rescue operation,” Trump said. Remnants of the downed F-15 fighter jet were recovered following the incident.
