The cold will persist: will the big Easter also be white somewhere after the white Christmas?

The forecast for Wednesday indicates a bright, sunny day, though a shift in weather is anticipated from the northwest during the evening. A robust westerly wind will develop throughout the afternoon. Simultaneously, a southerly wind will prevail along the coast, particularly in the afternoon and evening.

Temperatures will begin at a low of between -2 and 2 degrees Celsius in the morning. As the day progresses and into the evening, warmer conditions will arrive, with readings around 5 degrees Celsius expected along the coast and in the Gorizia region. The wind will continue to blow steadily.

Thursday night brings a widespread precipitation event across the entire nation. A northerly wind, including a strong bora in the northwest, will accompany this change. The cold will persist, and the snow line will descend into the lowlands in numerous locations.

Precipitation will lessen in intensity during the afternoon. A powerful north wind, again featuring a significant bora in the northwest, will continue to blow. Maintaining a cold temperature, heavy snowfall is predicted for Maribor at the end of February.
