Dari Južna has confirmed their withdrawal from the Info360 portal. Concerning their involvement with perspektiva FT, the representative stated that the sale of a share is merely a “change in the portfolio of investments.” However, he declined to answer questions regarding any loss of confidence in the majority state telecommunications operator, nor did he specify how the proceeds from the perspektiva FT transaction would be utilized. The couple Južna, recognized by Finance Manager as Slovenia’s wealthiest individuals, had previously waived dividends following the sale of their Telekom shares in July.
Attention now turns to the upcoming Telekom Slovenia general meeting, where shareholders will vote on the allocation of the previous year’s €53.5 million profit. A proposal currently before the meeting suggests distributing almost €30 million in dividends, equating to €4.60 gross per share. In addition to dividend decisions, the agenda includes the appointment of new supervisory board members, necessitated by the expiration of four existing terms.
These developments mark a period of significant portfolio adjustments for the family’s holdings in the Slovenian telecommunications sector. The market awaits the shareholder vote to finalize the financial roadmap for the company.
