Russian forces reportedly launched attacks against the city of Kyiv using drones and ballistic missiles. According to reports, the attacks targeted six districts within the city limits, in addition to six surrounding districts in the broader region. Mayor Vitaly Klychko communicated details via Telegram, stating that, according to current data, the attacks resulted in one fatality and 16 injuries.
Separately, the Ukrainian State Emergency Service provided an update indicating that the cumulative impact of the attacks across the entire Kyiv region has resulted in at least 31 injuries, including casualties among children. The SES confirmed that rescue and recovery operations remain active throughout the affected areas. The reports confirm that the assault utilized both drone technology and ballistic missiles against multiple residential and regional areas.
Authorities have maintained that emergency services are continuing their efforts to manage the aftermath of the strikes and provide aid to the injured.
