Slovenian tennis representative in Portorož against decimated Špankas

Slovenia’s Maša Zec Peškirič will captain the team at the upcoming Seville World Top Twelve tournament, marking her return as captain after a three-year absence. The competition will feature twelve of the world’s leading teams and top players. Spain’s team will be without three key players: Cristina Bucsa, currently ranked 31st in the WTA, Jessica Bouzas Maneiro, who holds the 47th position, and Paula Badosa, a former world number two.

Spain’s starting lineup includes Kaitlin Quevedo, ranked 127th, alongside Veronika Erjavec (99th) and Kajo Juvan (105th). Tamara Zidanšek will be just one place behind. The Slovenian team also features Dalila Jakupovic and Nika Radisic.

The Spanish team’s roster includes Dalma Galic, Ana Maria Fernandez, and Sofia Gabriela García.
