The accident happened on Wednesday morning in the village of Brusane, according to net.hr. According to the first police findings, a 29-year-old Austrian citizen was driving from Gospić towards Karlobag when, in a curve due to an unadapted speed, he lost control of his motorcycle and drove onto the opposite lane. In the collision, both motorists were seriously injured.
The Austrian was taken to the hospital in Rijeka, while the Slovenian was taken to the hospital in Gospić. The Croatian police will file a criminal case against the Austrian citizen for causing a traffic accident.
