The Ljubljana Police Department (PU) confirmed to us that the police are conducting urgent investigative activities in connection with economic crime and corruption in the area of several police departments. These are investigations based on orders from the competent court and with the guidance of the Specialized State Prosecutor of the Republic of Slovenia. “We cannot provide more information due to the interest of the pre-trial investigation,” they added on the Ljubljana Police Department.
According to our information, house searches are also taking place in the Moravče Municipality. As we learned unofficially, the first suspects are the Moravče Mayor, Milan Balažic. Milan Balažic, the Mayor of Moravče, is also the owner of the house where the house searches are taking place.
The investigations are supposed to start early in the morning.
