Slovenian politician Borut Sajovic stated following a meeting that the outcome of the recent elections remains a key consideration as work begins within the DZ, Slovenia’s parliamentary assembly. Sajovic expressed a desire for the election results to be fully accepted, paving the way for immediate proceedings. He indicated the need for established committees and their respective leadership, noting that this particular agreement was not reached during today’s discussions.
However, he anticipates a clearer understanding following a further meeting scheduled for Friday. Sajovic characterized the current situation as requiring continued efforts toward a government of national unity. He highlighted that the mandates were distributed amongst voters, necessitating cooperation through traditional political divisions.
Speaking on behalf of the Freedom party, Sajovic affirmed their commitment to this approach. He reiterated the appropriateness of pursuing a government of national unity, emphasizing the need for collaboration across established political lines.
