GZS has proposed the following to customers: “Take decisions thoughtfully”

Slovenian business leaders are urging for a government focused on economic development and stability. At a press conference in Ljubljana, Tibor Šimonka, president of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce (GZS), emphasized the need for a government that genuinely understands the economy’s crucial role in societal advancement. Šimonka stated that economic development should be the central priority for the upcoming government.

He advocated for incorporating measures designed to create a predictable, stable, and competitive business environment within the coalition agreement. According to Vesna Nahtigal, the General Director of the GZS, numerous initiatives could be enacted relatively quickly, with many achievable within six months. These proposed measures include the abolition of the fifth income tax class and a reduction in the rate of the fourth income tax class from 39 to 36 percent, with a gradual decrease planned.

The GZS believes these changes would significantly boost Slovenia’s economic competitiveness.
