Ukrainian officials confirmed a series of attacks across the country overnight, resulting in casualties and infrastructure damage. Three fatalities were confirmed, including an infant, according to a statement from Lisak. Two additional individuals sustained serious injuries and are receiving treatment in hospitals.
Oleh Kiper, the governor of the Odesa region, reported that at least 13 people were hospitalized following the attacks. Russian forces targeted Odesa and the Kharkiv region, causing widespread disruption. EFE reports indicate that Russian drones were launched against Ukraine, with a total of 141 drones deployed throughout the night.
Of these, 114 were successfully intercepted by Ukrainian air defenses. The remaining drones impacted 17 distinct locations, with details regarding these sites remaining undisclosed. Furthermore, Russian strikes targeted energy infrastructure in the Kharkiv region, leading to a power outage in the city of Slavutych.
Unconfirmed reports suggest additional strikes impacted 13 further locations.
