Aljoša Kravanja executed a unique jump during the Luža 2026 event in Planica, exceeding the official starting point of the ski jumping hill. Kravanja stated that his jump was intended to be a symbolic effort, referencing a jump of 100 meters previously attempted at the Gorišek brothers’ hill. “I jumped from 200 meters, symbolically,” he explained.
“Who jumped from 100 meters at the Gorišek brothers’ ski jumping hill? Nobody! I was looking a little outside the frame, some people do double salti, I don’t know that.”
Kravanja’s performance nearly resulted in a successful landing near the pool’s edge.
However, he narrowly missed the landing just before reaching the opposite side of the giant pool. The incident occurred during the competition at Planica, where Kravanja was competing.
