The Danes in Železniki have accepted Domna and Nike Prevc

Nika Prevc has secured her place in ski history as the third athlete to earn the prestigious big crystal globe for World Cup’s best skier. The accomplishment follows a successful season marked by multiple medal wins, including gold, silver, and bronze at the Predazzo Olympic Games. Throughout the season, Prevc achieved 18 victories and stood on the podium 28 times, solidifying her position as a dominant force in the sport.

Her brother, Domen Prevc, has also enjoyed an extraordinary period of success. Following his title as world champion in Trondheim last year, Domen set a world record in Planica just a month later. His achievements continued throughout the 2025/26 season, culminating in victories as the four-ski tour champion, world champion in jumps, and Olympic champion on the large jump.

Domen also secured the big crystal globe for the best skier in the individual jumps category. The Prevc siblings’ combined accomplishments represent a remarkable legacy in the world of ski jumping.
