Ljubljana Drama is not just a theater. It is a place where the views on society, art, and the time we live in are broken down for decades. How do the actors, who we all know and admire, explain such a lack of response from the current politics, which always results in empty promises?
It seems that somehow they do not understand, they cannot understand why nothing moves in the direction of new SNG Drama venues. And in this lack of understanding, many viewers have come to support them today. Among the audience of the old Drama building, at least 300 people came.
The atmosphere is wonderful, some even brought their own chairs, so the actors called the tribune to get in line before the start of the performance. The SNG Drama ensemble has prepared Cankar’s satire Za narodov blagor in directed by Vita Taufer for the stage, but it was done outside, between the facade of the building.
