MRFY and RotorMotor Launch Summer with New EP Release
MRFY and RotorMotor have officially launched the summer season with the release of their new EP, ROTORMOTORMRFYPOP, a collaborative project also featuring artist Ružno Pače. The short album presents three original songs, alongside a bonus track titled “Tihi lover.”
Notably, the EP will not be accompanied by a music video, a deliberate choice by the artists to encourage listeners to interpret the narrative within the music. The project marks a significant release from both mrfy and rotormotor.
The creative process behind ROTORMOTORMRFYPOP began with established connections. Levanael, a former member of the group Matter, and Nejc, the leader of the Maribor artistic collective LNTRN, are long-time acquaintances of MRFY’s Štras. The collaboration initially stemmed from Štras’s participation in rehearsals, a fall event that solidified the initial partnership.
The artists expressed excitement about the collaborative effort, highlighting their existing relationships with RotorMotor and Ružno Pače. Listeners are invited to immerse themselves in the music and develop their own understanding of the story presented. [PICTURE: Exhibitor’s archive]
