Petrol’s CEO, Sašo Berger, initiated the statement by offering a sincere apology to all customers for the recent fuel shortages at various sales locations. He emphasized that the company is diligently working to guarantee the most seamless possible supply. Immediately following the deterioration of the situation, all available operational mechanisms were activated.
Berger stressed that fuel reserves within the company’s warehouses are, in fact, not deficient. He confirmed that the supply of the system remains stable throughout. He highlighted external factors contributing to the delivery challenges, noting that these are circumstances beyond Petrol’s direct control.
The situation arose as a consequence of a dramatically increased demand for fuel. Currently, the situation is calming down, and the number of sales points experiencing shortages is decreasing. Following the price adjustment, the pressure on these sales points has significantly diminished.
Should sales volumes return to normal, Berger anticipates a considerably lower demand at the sales points, resolving the current difficulties for all.
