It will be windy again in the west, but gradually it will be warmer

The Environmental Agency has issued a significant weather warning for March 31st and April 1st. An orange alert has been activated for the southwestern region of Slovenia, extending until Thursday morning. This warning details escalating winds from the southwest, predicted to reach speeds exceeding 100 kilometers per hour during the evening and overnight hours on Thursday.

The northwest of the country is also under a similar alert for today. The day began with a notably cold atmosphere. Temperatures across most of Slovenia hovered around freezing at 6:00 a.m.

Temperatures are expected to rise gradually throughout the day. Tomorrow will bring sunny conditions in the western areas, while the remainder of the country will experience mostly cloudy skies.

Light rain is possible in the southeastern region. A strong westerly wind will persist, accompanied by moderate to intense gusts, particularly in the southwest. The lowest anticipated temperature will be approximately 10 degrees Celsius.
