Swiss Ministry Details Potential Agreement Following Iran Conflict
According to reports from the French press agency AFP, the Swiss Foreign Ministry has identified several locations being considered for a potential agreement related to the ongoing conflict following February attacks on Iran by the United States and Israel. These locations include Bürgenstock, Switzerland, as well as sites proposed in the United States, Iran, Pakistan, and Qatar. The precise details of the agreement remain undisclosed, but US President Donald Trump addressed the situation during the G7 summit in France.
He reiterated the commitment to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons, stating, “Iran will never have nuclear weapons, that is written (in the text). (…) This is about 99.9 percent of what I wanted.”
Furthermore, Mr. Trump announced plans to hold a press conference to detail the opening of the Hormuz Strait to international traffic without tolls.
This move is intended to address concerns regarding maritime access. The Swiss Ministry’s involvement highlights the international efforts surrounding the resolution of the conflict. The focus remains on securing a comprehensive agreement concerning Iran’s nuclear program and regional stability.
