Ljubljana Mayor Janković Faces Uncertainty Ahead of Elections
Zoran Janković, the long-serving mayor of Ljubljana, is confronting significant challenges that could diminish his previous unchallenged authority as the city prepares for local elections this year. The movement has raised questions about the continued support for his administration. During an appearance on the 24UR ZVEČER program, Janković stated he does not anticipate losing. “I respect everyone, I am not afraid of anyone,” he asserted.
“We will present our program with a team, which has its basis on these twenty years of foundation.”
Janković’s team is formulating a long-term vision for Ljubljana, projecting a plan for the city by 2045. He emphasized that this future strategy will be built upon the city’s established trajectory.
