Iran has responded by urging its citizens to form “human chains” surrounding power plants as a form of resistance. Images circulating on Iranian state media agency Fars, posted on social networks, depict large groups of people participating in these human chains across the country. The footage, available for viewing with user consent, shows hundreds of individuals forming lines around various power plants.
