Due to the confrontation, the scheduled event was canceled for the day. Despite the disruption, Arsenijević affirmed that the incident would not impede his ongoing work or activism regarding the memory of the victims. Prior to the reported incident, the coalition known as “People Remember People” had established a significant display at the location during the early morning hours.
This display included a large ikebana arranged in the shape of a Srebrenica flower, accompanied by an inscription bearing the name “Srebrenica.”
