Ljubljana’s Olimpija has suffered three consecutive quarterfinal losses, each ending with a score of 0-3. The team has been unable to score a single goal throughout the three matches of the series. In the second and third games, Olimpija managed to defeat the opposing goalkeeper, Edward Pasquale, once.
However, following video reviews, these efforts were ultimately unsuccessful, resulting in no goals for the home team. Olimpija coach Cooper stated that the team will not ignore the 0-3 deficit. This significant disadvantage requires a series of four consecutive wins to advance to the next round.
If Pustertal secures a victory this evening, the fifth match of the quarterfinal series will be held on Pustertal’s home field on Tuesday, April 7th. Subsequently, the sixth match will take place on Pustertal’s field on April 9th, with the final and decisive match scheduled for April 11th back in Ljubljana.
