Celje Man in Custody Following Burglary at Tuš Store
Celje – A man is in police custody following a burglary at the Tuš store on Tuesday night. The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m., when the perpetrator entered the store and stole several items. According to police reports, the individual took two shopping carts filled with cigarettes, a leather jacket, and a pair of jeans.
Following the incident, police initiated a search and successfully apprehended the suspect. During the arrest, authorities recovered the stolen merchandise and tools believed to have been used in the burglary. Further investigation revealed a pattern of criminal activity, with the same individual implicated in multiple burglaries targeting business premises within the Celje area, including the Celje Police Department.
Investigators determined the suspect had previously targeted the police department’s business buildings on several occasions. A criminal complaint will be filed with the investigative judge. The suspect is currently being held pending further investigation and legal proceedings.
