Slovenian General High School Final Exam Schedule Announced

The State Examination Center has released the schedule for this year’s general high school final exam, incorporating a thematic focus on the Slovenian language. This year’s essay theme, “Klanec, Nekoč, Danes, Vedno?” utilizes texts by Ivan Cankar’s “Na klancu” and Tine Vrščaj’s “Na klancu” for evaluation. The written exam portion of the exam will commence on May 29th, with the second part focusing on Slovenian, Italian, or Hungarian as a native language.

Subsequent written exams are scheduled for May 30th (English) and June 6th (Mathematics). Foreign language written exams will continue through June 9th, 11th, and 17th, while elective subject written exams will be conducted between June 1st and June 18th. Oral exams will be administered at individual schools between June 10th and June 23rd.

Students are expected to receive notification of their exam results on Monday, July 13th, with the State Examination Center announcing the outcomes starting at 7:00 a.m. This comprehensive exam represents a key assessment for graduating high school students in Slovenia.
