Three Armed Men Take Hostages at Credit Agricole Bank in Milan

Milan – On Thursday at approximately 11:30 local time, an armed robbery occurred at the Credit Agricole bank located in Piazza Medaglie d’Oro square. Three individuals, identified as robbers and wearing masks, entered the premises and took 25 people – including bank employees and customers – hostage. Initial reports indicate the perpetrators attempted to gain entry through a pre-existing hole in the building’s floor.

During the operation, two additional individuals emerged from this opening. Following a period of ransacking the bank’s safes, the group subsequently exited through the same hole they initially used. Police responded swiftly to a call from a passerby who observed unusual activity at the scene.
