The annual cultural festival in Maribor is anticipated to feature a wide array of events this year, according to Vladimir Rukavina, director of the National House Maribor. The festival is scheduled to run until July 4th, boasting a program of 253 events, which includes 99 concerts, spread across 27 venues throughout the city. Attendees are advised that viewing the full schedule requires consent for incorporating social media and third-party content.
The comprehensive program is organized into 26 distinct segments. The primary focus remains on Leon Štukelj Square, which will host several prominent musical acts. Among the confirmed performers scheduled for the main square are the bands Morcheeba, Dubioza kolektiv, and Laibach.
Other notable artists participating in the festival include Magnifico, Mi2, the Tržaški partizanski pevski zbor Pinko Tomažič, and the trio comprising Predin, Kreslin, and Lovšin. Furthermore, the Jazzlento segment will showcase performances by Theo Croker, Adam Ben Ezra, and Michael Oliveira. These acts will take place across various venues, including the Court Building, Patetico, and Jadranka Juras.
The trio Predin, Kreslin, and Lovšin are also confirmed to perform within the scope of this year’s festivities. The breadth of the lineup suggests a diverse cultural offering for the community.
