Tonči Glavina expressed his satisfaction with the outstanding outcomes. “Thanks to a record number of arrivals and overnight stays, we’ve also attained record revenues, which undeniably demonstrates that Croatian tourism is consistently expanding, now with a deliberate, strategic, and long-term sustainable approach,” he stated. The positive trends persisted throughout this year, and Glavina believes accurate forecasts regarding the remainder of the tourist season are difficult to provide given the current uncertainties.
“It’s reasonable to anticipate that travel choices this year will be made closer to the time – most visitors will likely finalize their decisions just a week or two prior to their trips,” he evaluated. Croatia experienced a remarkable surge in tourism last year, recording 21.6 million tourist arrivals and 109.6 million overnight stays. This figure surpassed the 21.3 million arrivals recorded the previous year.
The success highlights Croatia’s growing appeal and the industry’s commitment to responsible development.
