This prestigious competition will feature teams from Celje, Ljubljana, Trebnje, and Slovenj Gradec – teams currently holding positions within the Slovenian national handball championship. These places guarantee promotion to the top four teams. The event’s draw, conducted by former Slovenian national player Tamara Mavsar, determined the semi-final matchups.
Notably, Mavsar will conclude her active playing career following the season’s culmination. The final tournament promises a substantial prize fund of 25,000 euros, with half of this amount awarded to the victorious team. The Ljubljana team was granted the opportunity to select the competition’s date as the host location.
The semi-final matches will be a key focus for spectators, showcasing the skill and determination of these top handball teams.
