Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob met with representatives from the Freedom Party, the winning party in the recent elections, to discuss the formation of a new government. According to Po Han, the discussion involved exchanging views and opinions between Golob and the Freedom Party’s leader. During the meeting, the Freedom Party’s leader was briefed on the government’s planned programmatic starting points and a proposal outlining the division of 16 ministries.
Han stated that he did not discuss the specifics of the proposed ministries, intending to first consult with his colleagues within the party. Golob confirmed that the details of the ministry allocations are still under consideration, describing the process as “normal and right,” and emphasizing a step-by-step approach. The discussions among the five parliamentary parties have resulted in the initial proposal for the division of 16 ministries.
This number aligns with the current government’s structure.
