Vehicle Involved in Traffic Accident Near Kranj; Search Underway

Police responded to a traffic accident reported early Friday morning around 2:00 a.m. in the Kranj area. Upon arrival, officers discovered an Audi A5 that had collided with a security fence.

The vehicle was unoccupied, and no individuals were found nearby. Initial reports indicated potential injuries based on the damage sustained by the vehicle. Consequently, police immediately initiated a search for the driver and any passengers involved.

Multiple police patrols, including a unit utilizing a service dog, were dispatched to the scene. The canine quickly picked up a scent trail, leading it up a steep, overgrown bank and ultimately to the Sava River. The dog began barking and scratching at the riverbank.
