The prices of diesel, petrol and heating oil are again on the rise

Fuel Prices Set to Increase Across Europe

Fuel prices are scheduled to rise across several European markets, with changes taking effect between May 5th and May 11th. Regulated petroleum products will see an average increase of 4.8 cents per liter, bringing the price of gasoline to 1.683 euros (previously 1.635 euros) and diesel to 1.734 euros per liter (previously 1.708 euros). Fuel oil prices will also increase by 2.8 cents, reaching 1.380 euros per liter (previously 1.352 euros).

These price adjustments are determined through a methodology that reflects fluctuations in global petroleum product markets and the euro-dollar exchange rate. The calculations are based on these movements to establish new prices. It’s important to note that prices for fuel on motorways and expressways are determined freely by individual suppliers.

The anticipated rise in prices represents a shift in the market, impacting consumers and businesses reliant on these fuels. The changes are being implemented across a range of euros, reflecting the dynamic nature of the global energy market.
