According to the monastic prosecutor, an incident occurred Monday evening when an unidentified man entered the residential block. This individual reportedly left a package in the front yard before departing the scene. Moments later, an explosion was heard by three tenants approaching the entrance.
French media identified the three individuals who were injured as Ukrainian oligarch Vadim Jermoilov, his partner, and their 13-year-old son. All three were transported to a hospital in Nice. While the teenager sustained only minor injuries, his parents were reportedly seriously injured.
Although Jermoilov is no longer in immediate danger of death, his partner’s condition remains critical. Reports indicate that medical personnel were forced to amputate both of her legs. The whereabouts of the alleged attacker remain unknown.
Monastic authorities suspect the perpetrator is located within France, noting that surveillance cameras recorded his movements.
