PHOTO: Aljoša Kravanja Specialized State Prosecutor filed a complaint to the High Court after the first-instance court did not agree with his allegations that these were typical cases of corruption. The Prosecutor accused the President of the SDS, Janez Janša, of having bought a parcel in Trent in 1992, then sold it to the company Eurogradnje, which was then led by Klemen Gantar, at a significantly higher price.
Eurogradnje soon after sold the land to the company Imos under the leadership of then-director Branko Kastelic, which then sold the three-room apartment in Ljubljana to Janša in 2005. Janša allegedly used the payment of Eurogradnje for the parcel in Trent to help him with the purchase. But the High Court in Celje last year did not agree with the Prosecutor’s allegations that these were typical cases of corruption.
