Severe Storms Impact Slovenia, Causing Widespread Damage
A series of intense storms originating in Austria brought significant disruption to Slovenia on Saturday, impacting regions across the country. The storms initially affected Carinthia and parts of Styria before moving south, subsequently impacting Gorenjska and central Slovenia. Fire and rescue services responded to numerous incidents, with firefighters in Ljubljana utilizing water from buildings to combat flooding.

In Vrhnika, a fallen tree caused damage to a military barracks, trapping several vehicles in trailers. Furthermore, Slovenj Gradec reported a power outage affecting over 600 customers. To date, authorities have recorded damage to 1,820 buildings due to the severe weather.
