Police in Maribor began an investigation in early June regarding stolen goods discovered missing from a local company’s warehouse located in the Hoč area. The subsequent inquiry revealed that the criminal activity was not isolated but was carried out through the collusion of multiple individuals over an extended period. According to preliminary findings compiled by authorities, the theft involved internal complicity.
Several employees of the affected company were implicated, allegedly working in concert with other suspects. Together, the group systematically removed various goods from the warehouse over time. The stolen inventory primarily consisted of textiles and electronic devices, with the total estimated value of the missing items reaching approximately 330,000 euros.
Based on the evidence gathered during the investigation, law enforcement authorities successfully apprehended the suspects. Following the arrests, police conducted multiple house searches in connection with the case. The investigation into the breach of security and the organized theft within the Maribor facility is ongoing as authorities work to process the recovered evidence.
