The voters for the tenth time in the history of the independent state on parliamentary elections

The general elections commenced this morning at 7:00 a.m. across the nation, with over 3,000 polling stations opening for the public. Voters will have until 7:00 p.m.

to cast their ballots, and the voting silence remains in effect throughout this time. The outcome of the voters’ will will be revealed later this evening, once the new makeup of the National Assembly is determined. A total of 1,698,352 eligible voters are registered to participate in this election, selecting from 1,185 candidates vying for 90 seats within the Assembly.

This year’s elections in the DZ involve 17 political parties, with 15 of them active in all eight electoral districts. A significant number of polling stations will be operational, including 2,987 regular locations and 88 omnia stations for those unable to vote at their usual address. Furthermore, voting will also occur at 29 diplomatic-consular representation offices situated internationally.

Voters received crucial notifications regarding their designated polling station and the voting day in their homes over the preceding days. The entire voting process will conclude at 7:00 p.m.
