Jakob Omrzel participated in his first race on the Slovenian stage, marking a key step in his preparation for the Tenerife triathlon. Omrzel, who had spent the preceding three weeks preparing specifically for Tenerife, stated, “I have been preparing for Tenerife for three weeks.
There, I relaxed a lot and got into the form I want to be in.” He utilized the race to assess his condition before the upcoming competition.
