Naum Ohridski.”
Anita Dimoska, head of the emergency medical assistance service in Skopje, noted that the most serious injury sustained by the oldest woman involved a head trauma resulting from a fall from a tree. The powerful winds caused significant structural damage across the city. Reports indicate that sections of roofs were torn away, branches were broken, and several trees were uprooted.
Among the damaged public buildings were the City General Hospital “8th September” and a local primary school. The resulting debris posed immediate hazards to the public, leading to disruptions and affecting local traffic patterns throughout Skopje. The scale of the damage suggests widespread disruption, requiring ongoing efforts to clear debris and assess the stability of affected infrastructure.
