Significant Traffic Delays Reported on Slovenian Highways
According to data from the Traffic Information Center, extensive traffic congestion is impacting travel times across several Slovenian highways. Notably, travel time from Ljubljana to Koper has reached nearly two hours, with delays exceeding two hours and ten minutes recorded around 12:30. The most severe congestion currently stretches over 14 kilometers between the Dragomer and Logatec junctions in the direction of Koper, resulting in a delay of more than an hour.
This traffic bottleneck is impacting commuters and travelers. Multiple areas are experiencing significant delays. Traffic is heavily congested between Blagovica and Šentjakob heading towards Ljubljana, as well as on the Ljubljana–Šentjakob route towards Celje.
Furthermore, delays are reported before Slovenska Bistrica traveling towards Ljubljana. Specific highway exits are also experiencing substantial traffic. These include the Vrhnika exit approaching Ljubljana and the section between Draga and Draga traveling towards Ljubljana.
These delays highlight ongoing traffic issues impacting routes towards Koper and underscore the need for motorists to monitor conditions and adjust their travel plans accordingly.
