The Institute of Pension and Disability Insurance (Zpiz) announced revised payment amounts following a unique circumstance. Danijel Kovač, deputy general director, explained at today’s board meeting that a specific alignment of one percent of pensions coincided with the 1st of March. This necessitated the establishment of new figures for various pension types.
The lowest pension, effective from March 1st, will be 386.93 euros. Similarly, the minimum disability pension is set at 644.90 euros. Disability compensation for new disabilities begins at a base of 819.01 euros.
Compensation for vocational rehabilitation related to disability, incurred this year, can reach a maximum of 3276.04 euros. Notably, the widow’s pension, introduced this year, is capped at 150.90 euros. The combined payment of the widow’s and a portion of the widower’s pension can, in certain cases, total 3276.04 euros.
The Institute’s board formally approved these changes during today’s meeting on February 26th. These adjustments ensure appropriate payments in euros across all pension and disability categories.
