The government appointed new members of the ESS

The newly formed government, marking the fourth administration under Janez Janša’s leadership, has officially dismissed several former members and their deputies who served in the executive branch during the previous mandate. The list of individuals dismissed included Luka Mesec, Dan Juvan, Igor Feketija, Klemn Boštjančič, Katja Božič, Sašo Jazbec, Matjaž Han, Dejan Židan, Matevž Frangež, Franc Props, Mojca Ramšak Pešec, Juret Trbič, Igor Papič, Juret Gašparič, Urban Kodrič, Valentino Prevolnik Rupel, Denis Kordež, Aleksander Jevšek, Marko Koprivec, Srečko Đurov, Alenka Kajzer, and Mitja Perka. In place of these departures, the new government appointed several key figures.

Among the new members taking up ministerial roles are Anže Logar, who has been appointed Minister of Economy, Labour and Sport. Andrej Šircelj has taken over as the Minister of Finance. Mateja Ribič is the newly appointed Minister of Demography, Family and Social Affairs.

Furthermore, Janez Lenarčič has been designated as both the Minister of External Affairs and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. This restructuring solidifies the composition of the administration as it moves forward with its agenda.
