Woman’s Daughter and Friend Misdirected on Bus Trip to Ljubljana
Celje, Slovenia – Local police responded to a situation yesterday involving a young woman and her daughter who became inadvertently transported to Ljubljana after boarding the wrong bus. The incident began when the daughter and her friend were mistakenly placed on a vehicle heading in the opposite direction of their intended destination. Seeking a solution, the bus drivers requested permission to stop briefly at Tepanje to avoid a longer journey to Ljubljana.
However, the drivers stipulated that a police stop would be required before allowing the bus to deviate from its route. Upon being stopped by police in Celje, the young woman was able to disembark and await her father’s arrival to collect her. “It’s rare that drivers request a stop in this manner,” stated a spokesperson for the Celje police.
The circumstances highlighted a unique interaction between the public transport drivers and law enforcement. The incident resulted in a swift resolution, ensuring the safe return of the girl to her father. Authorities confirmed that the police were involved in facilitating the safe retrieval of the young woman following the initial request for a stop.
