Stevanović paid Progres workers, opposition still demands Mijič’s resignation

Zoran Stevanović announced in the National Assembly that three workers associated with the company Progres have successfully received their outstanding salaries. According to Stevanović, one worker was paid €6,000, while the other two workers each received €3,000. Stevanović confirmed that the company Progres currently owes this sum to him, and he expressed confidence that the remaining debt will be fully settled by the end of the year, referencing an agreement reached between the parties at the Resnica party.

The statement provided details regarding the immediate settlement of these wages for the affected employees. The payment signifies a step toward resolving the financial obligations owed by the company to its workforce. Separately, during his address, Stevanović also addressed a matter concerning an individual named Mijic.

He stated that if Mijic is found guilty of any charges, he will be required to appear before the press office. The core focus of the announcement, however, remained on the successful disbursement of the outstanding wages to the workers of Progres.
