The win marked Ljubljana’s first triumph in the best-of-five matchup, ensuring the continuation of the season. Nik Simšič, a key player for Ljubljana, highlighted the significance of the team’s initial goal.
“The first goal was definitely crucial to gaining a little self-confidence,” Simšič stated following the game. “We have not scored for a long time.”
