Multiple Vehicles Involved in Slovenian Traffic Incident
KOPER – Slovenian police responded to a significant traffic incident involving a truck and a bus on Tuesday. A 36-year-old Indian national residing near Koper was operating a truck traveling eastbound on the right lane towards Ljubljana when a traffic congestion occurred. The congestion necessitated a lane change, causing the truck’s trailer to sway due to an insufficiently adjusted speed.
This resulted in the trailer overturning onto its side, along with a subsequent tow truck. Simultaneously, a 48-year-old Ukrainian citizen, the driver of a bus traveling in the opposite direction, was unable to avoid the falling truck. The bus also overturned as a result of the collision.
Following the incident, all vehicles came to a stop partially blocking both lanes of travel. Police secured the scene and arranged for the removal of the overturned truck and tow truck. Authorities confirmed that the incident was caused by a combination of factors including a sudden lane change and an adjustment issue with the truck’s speed.
