Singer D4vda Arrested in Connection with Teenager’s Death

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has announced the arrest of David Anthony Burke, known as singer D4vda, in connection with the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Remains of Hernandez were discovered in Burke’s vehicle in September of last year. Initially not considered a suspect, Burke, 21, is currently in custody and unable to secure bail.

Authorities confirmed that Hernandez’s death occurred several weeks prior to the discovery of her remains. The police have formally charged Burke with suspicion of murder. “The case will be taken over by the district attorney, who will continue with the proceedings,” stated the LAPD in a released statement.

Confirmation from the District Attorney’s office detailed that the Department of Serious Crimes will now lead the prosecution. “We are informed that Los Angeles Police Department has arrested David Anthony Burke. The case will be taken over by the Department of Serious Crimes, and the prosecution will examine the evidence and then decide whether he has the right to proceed.”

The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.

The police continue to cooperate with the District Attorney’s office in this matter.
