Ljubljana, Slovenia – Klara Erika Lipcsei is pursuing legal action against several entities following a serious injury she sustained at Vintgarju in July 2021. Lipcsei stated during a recent appearance at the Ljubljana District Court that she and her husband, daughter, and grandson were on holiday at the popular Slovenian attraction when the incident occurred. The injury resulted in a severe head trauma and prolonged coma, significantly impacting Lipcsei’s life.

Now 56, she has been rendered an invalid and is receiving an invalidity pension. Reports from Delo, Slovenske novice, and Dnevnik detail the circumstances surrounding the event. Lipcsei’s lawsuit targets the Republic of Slovenia, citing its ownership of the land where the incident occurred, the Triglavski Narodni Park, the national park encompassing Vintgarju, and the Gorje Tourist Society, which manages entry fees.
